Clinical Research

Our Practice is a research active practice!

Did you know that clinical research takes place at this GP Practice?

The Research Site Initiative is a scheme for all GP practices in the East Midlands to engage in clinical research. There are 4 levels, with the

highest (Level 4) being the one requiring the greatest commitment by the practice. We have been Level 4 since April 2023.

We’re proud to give our patients the opportunity to take part in research so that together we can develop new treatments and medicines for

the future.

There are many different types of research available for people to take part in, and the overwhelming majority of people have a positive

experience of research.

Last year, more people took part in research in primary care settings (such as GP Practices) in the East Midlands than any other part of

England. Join them and help us to improve healthcare.

Here is a short video explaining why you may wish to consider taking part in research: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnWAfMnUBCo

We would like to extend a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who has taken part in research at the practice – you really have made a difference!

If we invite you to take part in a study, please consider doing so. Recent studies have shown that 93% of patients who took part in research would do so again.
