In addition to GP consultations we offer the following clinics some provided by our staff, others provided by attached staff or outside agencies
Nurse lead Minor Illness clinics starting on January 2016. Nurse Practitioner Alison Crowe has undertaken a qualification in non-medical prescribing which enables her to prescribe medication appropriate to minor illnesses.
In order to improve our systems for patients requesting pill prescriptions, we would like to offer patients an opportunity to complete an essential questionnaire which includes blood pressure, weight and other health questions. This will be reviewed by the nurse and if appropriate a prescription for pill will be issued without the need for a face to face consultation .
Please be advised that you will be asked to make an apt if the form has not been completed fully as it is important that your safe use of the pill is assessed, or if the nurse wishes to discuss further any concerns.

If you would prefer a face to face consultation please book apt for pill check as normal
