Extended Access Appointments

We are offering more appointments in the early mornings, evenings and at weekends across West Leicestershire to make it easier for patients to get the care they need.

Depending on your symptoms and individual needs, we may offer you an Extended Access Appointment.

Please note:

• These appointments may take place at a different surgery or healthcare location.
• You may not see your usual GP or nurse.
• In some cases, you may be offered an appointment with an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, who is specially trained to assess, diagnose and treat many health conditions.

The healthcare professional you see will have access to the information they need from your medical record and will update your usual GP practice after your appointment.

Extended Access Locations

Appointments may be available at:

• Hinckley and Bosworth Community Hospital
• Loughborough Urgent Care Centre, Loughborough Community Hospital
• Coalville Community Hospital
